Planning ETA training in Ankara and Fethiye (Ovacik)

I left Maryland on August 28. I flew through Munich and met with with Michael, a Senior ELF going to Erzincan, and Mark, a returning ELF going to Van. For the next three weeks we were all but joined at the hip as we planned a two week training session for 5 English Language Teaching Assistants (ETAs) coming to Turkey this year. Martha and Bob, two other Senior ELFs, waited at home for their visas, and we waited hopefully with them. The second week was a significant Bayram in Turkey, and few places would be open and functioning, so we went to Fethiye with our ELO, his wife and two daughters, and two cars. Martha arrived, as did our fourth Senior ELF, Bob. By this time some of us were getting "grumbly tummy" - but nothing could distract from the beauty of Fethiye.
